Tesla Car Sales in Poland fall down by 50% in February ’25

In early 2025, Tesla has experienced a significant decline in sales, with the number of vehicles sold in Poland in January and February dropping to just 300 units, compared to 622 units during the same period in 2024. This drop of nearly 52% raises questions about the reasons behind the dip in Tesla’s sales performance.

At the same time, the overall market for personal cars in Poland has seen a positive trend, with sales rising by 14.1% to a total of 2,916 vehicles sold. This overall growth in the automotive sector highlights a strong demand for cars, but Tesla has failed to keep up with the market pace.

The top-selling brands in Poland for the first two months of 2025 include:

  • Kia – 325 vehicles
  • Tesla – 300 vehicles
  • Dacia – 289 vehicles
  • Nissan – 281 vehicles
  • Hyundai – 222 vehicles
  • Mercedes – 208 vehicles

Although Tesla’s sales have dropped, it is important to note that Dacia’s higher sales numbers are a result of targeting a different customer base, rather than a direct competition with Tesla. While Tesla remains one of the most advanced cars on the market, Dacia caters to a different demographic, focused on budget-friendly and practical vehicles.

The decline in Tesla’s sales could be linked to a combination of factors, including market dynamics and competition from other well-established brands. Additionally, political activities surrounding CEO Elon Musk could also influence Tesla’s brand perception in some regions.

In this evolving landscape, it’s clear that while Tesla faces challenges, the overall car market is growing, and Tesla’s ability to rebound will be something to watch as the year progresses.
